Project Description:

Aim of the project is to support Least Developed Countries (LDCs) in their efforts to adapt to the impacts of climate change through long-term capacity strengthening activities with government as well as civil society. The main objectives of the project are to a) Strengthening the capacity of civil society in LDCs to adapt to climate change and enhancing adaptive capacity among the most vulnerable groups, b) Establishing an information and knowledge sharing system to help countries to deal with the adverse impacts of climate change, and c) Integrating adaptation to climate change into the work of key non-government institutions, and mainstreaming the NAPA process with these institutions. As part of the capacity building CLACC has initiated Fellowship Programme for researchers working in the civil society organizations.
