This Publication is based mostly on the primary information drawn from the project activities implemented during the re-excavation of canals and rivers. The sustainable Environment Management Programme (SEMP) consisted in multidisciplinary and participatory project activities and it involved many communities across the country, both in the haors and the floodplains during implementing the activities relevant to re-excavation.
