About the Book

The snails of Chanda beel area of aquatic and freshwater variety belonging to subclass Opisthobranchia. In the year of 1999, a study comprising field survey and monitoring has been carried out to identify and analyze the commercial linkages of snail harvesting by BCAS in association with IUCN- Bangladesh Country Office under the community Based Floodplain Resource Management project of Sustainable Environment Management Programme (SEMP). The book give some interesting findings of the study.
