Main Objective:   To provide hands on training on environmental education to 70 non-formal school teachers and necessary teaching aids to trainee teachers so that they can carry out the programme in his/her respective class.
Brief Description: BCAS received a fund from HSBC, Bangladesh to provide teacher training on the EE package produced under Winrock fund and provided trainings to 100 non-formal school teachers in and around Dhaka. Provided trainings to non-formal school teachers on Environmental Education (EE) from Dhaka, Gazipur and Bogra using the Environmental Education materials prepared by BCAS (a manual, flipchart and posters).
Output BCAS produced an EE manual using unconventional teaching method in Bangla along with other supporting materials and published it as an Environmental Education package. Also non-formal school teachers are carrying out environmental education programme in their respective schools.
